This is Still the Place: Utah's 1897 Pioneer Jubilee

   

Slatted Chair. Painted reddish brown, this chair has a low seat of torn rawhide. The chair belonged to Levi Jackman, pioneer of 1847 who came with Brigham Young (Catalog, p. 24). (Accession # 8318; dimensions: height 41” x width 15” x length 14”; donor: Chase Mill)
