THE ARRIVAL OF HANDCARTS IN THE SALT LAKE VALLEY

During the next four years the Daughters of Utah Pioneers will be celebrating the arrival of the handcarts into the Salt Lake Valley . These dedicated pioneers arrived during the years 1856-1860. Annie McBride Wheeler, a young artist from Salt Lake City , painted a beautiful picture to honor these handcart pioneers. The Daughters have created three articles with this attractive picture; a plate, note cards and a mouse pad. These items can be viewed on our gift shop page.
